Coffee Tables

Coffee tables are usually found in the living room or sitting room.  Coffee tables may also incorporate cabinets for storage.  Coffee tables come in variety of styles and sizes.  I’m a big fan of glass-topped coffee tables as they have a fabulous retro feel and can still fit into more traditional rooms. 

These contemporary coffee tables even suit your Kitchen table with their sturdy wooden worktops.  The first tables, in Europe, specifically designed as and called coffee tables, appear to have been made in Britain during the late Victorian era.  Later coffee tables were designed as low tables and this idea may have been introduced from the Ottoman Empire, based on the tables in use in tea gardens.  Choose from contemporary coffee tables, classic occasional tables and modern coffee tables.
